About me

Professional ambitions

I am an undergraduate student at Queen Mary University of London who studies politics and international relations. My career-related aspirations lie within the public sector, with a preference for policy-making roles in the UK; this can be on a local or national scale.

Such roles include: Policy Advisor, Political Risk Analyst and Public Affairs Assistant

The reason why I am invested in politics and the public sector is that I want to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I am also aware of the impact decisions by the government have on the country (e.g., Brexit, COVID-19, housing, crime and the NHS) by keeping myself updated with current affairs. This means I understand the importance of having diverse voices in the room, being willing to compromise and reaching an agreeable solution.

I am not afraid to contribute to such discussions, have my voice heard and be open to learning, regardless of experience.

Personal interests

I enjoy sports and find football, tennis and boxing to be fun, yet intense sports. I am also huge on anime and enjoy the shonen jump, seinen and slice-of-life genres the most. Furthermore, I like to keep up with the latest Hollywood blockbusters.

In addition, I love listening to all kinds of music, and the same can be said for video games. Reading is a growing habit, and I tend to gravitate towards more dystopian books. Meanwhile, I am currently learning a bit of French every day. C’est bon!

My Christian faith is essential to me as it helps me navigate life's trials, tribulations and wonders.
